KOEHLER – Glen It is with deep sadness that the family of Glen Koehler announces his passing in the evening of Friday September 9, 2020 at the age of 82. Glen was predeceased by his son Lynn Koehler; mother and father Eva and Walter Koehler; and brothers-in-law James Watt and Walter Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife, of 60 years, Jean Koehler; daughter-in-law Leanne Koehler; son Terry Koehler and his wife Lori; grandchildren: Daniel McIntyre (wife Kim and children Lucas, Anneva and Greyson), Samantha Koehler (children Dakota, Keinen and Mavryk), Jenifer Klassen (husband Levi and children Asher, Eloise and Simon), Jesse Koehler (wife Jennifer and children James, Emma and Axel); sister Mary Lou Watt; sister-in-law Naomi Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Glen was born in 1938, in Cabri, Saskatchewan. He lived and worked on his family farm all his life. He also worked in the oil industry for many years. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Glen was always up for a good visit and he was eager to lend a hand. He could be found tinkering in his shop and he loved to share his latest creations and projects with all who came by. He was very community minded and was well known by all in Hazlet and area. He loved his wife Jean and two sons Lynn and Terry very much. He was a wonderful grandpa and a very special great grandpa. He will be missed. Due to Covid 19 a memorial for Glen has been postponed. In leu of flowers donations can be made to The Hazlet Economic Development Committee. Arrangements are in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle & Hayden Cappelle.
