Brandon Keith Pryor, 26 went to be with the Lord way before we were ready to let him go. He was born in Athens, Texas on April 8, 1994 and left us on October 11, 2020. He was a very devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Margaret Pryor, from Athens. Survivors include his wife of 5 years Tori and two precious children Braylee 5, and Tripp 3, from Athens, parents; Keith & DeLain Pryor and brothers; Brent and Bradley Pryor all from Athens, grandparents Omer and Betty Benton of Athens. In-laws Sambo and Tawnya Sewalt of Athens and Tony and Lynn Gregory of Sealy, Texas, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Brandon was employed at the Henderson County Sheriffs Department as a Detention Officer. He graduated from Cross Roads High School in May of 2012 and continued his education at TVCC and graduated with an Associates Degree on May of 2014. He was about to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a Navy Seal after signing on January 28, 2020 and was scheduled to leave on January 27, 2021. He enjoyed spending time with his family playing with his children and hearing them laugh, enjoying the outdoor activities such as hunting, riding 4 wheelers, working out and spending time with his brothers and friends. His contagious smile and personality will be greatly missed, but never forgotten by all who knew him and loved him so much. Pallbearers will be Brent Pryor, Bradley Pryor, DJ Hocutt, Bob Hernandez, Jude Bonner and Trent Nelson. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday October 14, 2020 from 5-7 P.M. at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday October 15, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Living for the Brand Cowboy Church with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating.
