William "Bill" Arthur Seward Obituary

William "Bill" Arthur Seward, 84, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020. He was born on October 25, 1935 in Monon, Indiana to the late Golden Richard and Cecila Marie (Owens) Seward. Bill graduated from Monon High School in 1953. He served his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. On May 26, 1979, he married Rosetta "Rosie" Harris in Monticello and she survives. Bill worked for Alloy Rod and White County Highway Department. He was a member of Monon United Methodist Church. Bill was a huge NASCAR fan. Surviving are his wife, Rosie Seward of Lafayette; his children, Bob (Linda) Seward of Necedah, WI, Mark (Tammy) Seward of Wolcott, IN, and Rick (Teresa) Seward of Claypool, IN; and his step-children, David (Kathy) Harris of Florida, Debbie (Mark) Chatilain of Florida, Kevin (Kim) Harris of Lebanon, and Tonya Wilson of Lafayette. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Rob, Zack, Mike, Brett, Brian, Brock, Nile, Alyssa, Chelsea, Allie, Whitney, Lexi, and Isaiah and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Owen, Sutton, Adrina, Justin, Harper, and Vivian. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Seward, Barbara Anchor, Marlene Wheeler, Don Seward, and Tom Seward. Private services will be held with burial in Riverview IOOF Cemetery in Monticello, IN.
