Sandra "Sandy" Kay Krull, 76, of Hermann, MO, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Victorian Place of Hermann, Hermann, Missouri.
 
Sandy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 2, 1944, the daughter of the late Noah & Clara (Messmer) Akins.
 
She was united in marriage to Carl "Carlie" Krull on February 14, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri.  Carl preceded her in death on July 26, 2015.
 
Sandy is survived by two sons, James P. Krull & wife Becky, of Swiss, Missouri; and Dan Matlock & wife Kristi, of St. James, Missouri; by two daughters, Janet Rodgers & husband Dean, of Hermann, Missouri; and JoAnne Bradford & husband Bryan, of Swiss, Missouri; a brother, Donald Akins, Sr. & wife Pat, of California, by her grandchildren, Mackenzie Krull, Mason Krull & fiance’ C.J., Maria Krull, Maxwell Krull, Justin Rodgers & wife Sara, Debbie Murphy & husband Chuck, Luke Bradford, Dana Mowry & husband Joe, and Josh Krull & wife Brittany, by great grandchildren, Tucker, Brexleigh, Blake, Jasper, Owen, Pfc. Drake, Addyson and Madison, by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. 
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters, Dorothy Sissom, Helen Hanners, Shirley Hayes, MaryAnn Alice Akins, and brothers, Noah C. Akins Jr., Billy Gene Akins, Melvin Ray Akins & James Paul Akins.
 
Sandy worked for Wonder Bread and S&S Mobile Home Sales.  She used her creative talents to make floral arrangements for weddings, special occasions and funerals.  She enjoyed working with crafts and could fix & repair almost anything. Sandy attended church services at Grace Baptist Church in Swiss and was considered a second mother to many.  She was a member of the Swiss Improvement Organization (SIO) and served as an election judge many years.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be at Swiss Evangelical Reformed Cemetery, Swiss, Missouri. Memorials may be given to Swiss Improvement Organization (SIO).   C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
