Laura Maddux

Laura Maddux, age 59, of Temple passed from this life during the afternoon hours of Saturday, October 10, 2020 at her mother’s home. She was born on the 10th day of December in 1960 to parents Desidero and Ramona (Siprian) Ramos in Waco, Texas. Laura has been a resident of Bell County for almost her entire life. She was a graduate of Holland High School. Laura enjoyed writing short stories and loved to draw; she had an amazing artistic ability that she loved to share with others. She like to camp out at Lake Belton and enjoyed listening to music. Laura was of the Catholic faith. She is preceded in death by her father Desidero. Laura leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Trulena Rose Maddux of Temple, son Forrest Lynn Maddux of Temple, daughter Angela Dawn Maddux of Austin, mother Mona Rogal of Temple, sister Dora Cook of Holland, brother Raymond Karichko of Marble Falls and brother David Rogal of Waco. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren. A graveside memorial service and burial of ashes will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 11 o’clock a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple with Pastor Ray Blundell officiating. Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
