<p>FREDERICK (Fred) ALBERT MEADE</p> <p>November 4, 1934 – October 10, 2020</p> <p>It is with both sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Meade on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Pembina Village in Evansburg at the age of 85 years.</p> <p>He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Shirley, children Jeff (Carla), Gaylene (Lee), grandchildren Kathryn (Burton), Mallory (Kyle), Zane (Amanda) and Garett as well as great grandchildren Madison, Jaxton, Daelen, Colter, Ryden and Reed. Also surviving are his siblings Leonard Meade (Lilly) and Marlene Pettit and a sister in law Judy Meade as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and so many wonderful friends.</p> <p>Fred was predeceased by his parents Cedrick and Catherine Meade, step father Fred Moorhouse, son Brad, brothers Clifford and Donnie.</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Life Church, Drayton Valley with Pastor Randy Rye officiating.</p> <p>The family would like to thank Dr. Murphy and all of the amazing staff for the wonderful care given to Fred during his time there.</p> <p>If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Pembina Village, Evansburg or to STARS Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service Foundation- Head Office, 570-1441 Aviation PK NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 9Z9.</p> <p>Drayton Valley Funeral Services are in care of arrangements.
