<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">&nbsp; &nbsp; </span></span><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">&nbsp;EUNICE~ It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Ronnie Miller announces his passing on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Lafayette General Hospital with his loving family by his side. Ronnie was 72. A Celebration of Ronnie&rsquo;s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ronnie, proudly served in the United States Navy which he received two medals, the expert rifle medal and the national defense service medal. He worked as a diesel mechanic at Guillory Tank and I. E. Miller. He was self employed with Ronnie&rsquo;s Truck and Trailer for about ten years as well as the owner of Ronnie&rsquo;s Place for the past fifteen years. &nbsp;Ronnie had a love for cooking, baking, jack daniels and fishing. He was a football fan of the Saints and LSU tigers; but most of all he loved his family. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. His loving family includes three daughters, Jolene Nelson, Tina Miller and Jake Daigle and Kellie Miller and Mark Bellon all of Eunice; his sister, Sandy Matte and Mike Fontenot of Eunice; the five joys of his life, his grandchildren, Jodi Miller, Ashley Bennett, Kameron Darbone, Zack Nelson and Kenzie Deville; four great grandchildren, Eli, Karson, Brooklyn and Beau; as well as extended family and many many friends.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He is preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Courville Miller; his parents, Ray and Mae Richard Miller; brother, Kenneth Miller, sister-in-law, Elise Miller; brother-in-law, Richard Matte.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, October 12th from 4 pm until 10 pm and again on Tuesday, October 13th from 8 am until time of services.
