William Brantley Harrell Obituary

JONES COUNTY: William Brantley Harrell "Brant," 55, of Highway 18 East, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020, at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida.

Mr. Harrell was born February 3, 1965, in Macon, Georgia. He was the son to the late Daniel Harrell and Jean Harrell. He retired as an electrician from Georgia College & State University. He was a devoted husband, as well as a loving father and papa. His favorite past times were farming, hunting, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He also found great joy in teaching, guiding and helping others. He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Harrell.

Mr. Harrell is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cheryl Harrell, sons: Brandon Harrell and Jason Harrell (Kelly); daughter: Christy Harrell (Joseph Richard); Grand daughters: Vivian Harrell & Virginia Harrell; step grand daughter: Gloria Griffin; Mother: Jean Jones; Sister: Barbara Cox (Mike); Brother: Danny Harrell, Bonus Children: Michael Duncan & Joseph 'Slim' Tanner (Missy); as well as nieces, great nieces and a great nephew; and three loyal family friends: Rick Wade, Jim Smith and Austin Smith of Miami, Florida.

The family will greet family and friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray, GA. Memorial services will begin at Gray Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM and will be concluded at Elam Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Franklin Etheridge officiating.
