Frank Zieger, Jr.

<p>ZIEGER, JR.&nbsp;<br /> FRANK JOSEPH&nbsp;<br /> Age 72, of Franklin Park, passed away early Sunday morning, October 11, 2020. Precious husband of Mary Ann (Wright) Zieger of 47 years; also survived by his brothers, Dennis and Ronald and his sister, Nadine. Frank was a Vietnam Veteran in the Navy, where he received the Navy Commendation Medal for heroic achievement while serving friendly foreign forces engaged in armed conflict against the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong communist aggressors in the Republic of Vietnam. Frank attributes the Navy to his successful regimented life style and work ethics. Frank was the proud owner and operated of Ace Tavern for 42 years. He also was a Stowe Twp. Commissioner for 16 years, which he chose to help and support the townspeople who helped him in support of his business. While serving as Commissioner, he also became the President of the Char West COG. Frank loved golfing with his buddies, watching Netflix movies, cutting grass with his John Deere and singing to the oldies. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, 2-8 p.m. at the Stowe Twp. location of the ANTHONY M. MUSMANNO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 700 7th St., McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 11 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption, Belleview. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated in Frank&#39;s name to Pets for Vets, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pgh., PA 15237.
