Pastor Dale Lloyd Storm, 66, of Coolidge passed away on October 6th, 2020. Pastor Storm was a man after God’s own heart and he walked with God. Pastor Storm was loved by everyone he came in contact with and a man who lived his life pleasing the Lord. The moment he shut his eyes in death, he heard, “Well done thou good and faithful servant. You may enter into my kingdom.” Pastor Storm was always active in the community. In his younger years, he served as a police officer, EMT and fire fighter. In 1999, Pastor Storm and his wife, Carol Storm, were called by God to start Florence Baptist Church. Shortly after that, they started the Florence Food Bank and the Florence Baptist Academy to greater serve the community of Florence. Pastor Storm and his wife were both very active in the ministries of the Church. Within the ministries, Pastor Storm served as Head Pastor, Food Bank Director, Youth Director, Bus Driver and even taught in the school. Pastor Storm is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol; 2 daughters, Deyonne (Jason Ullmer) and Denyse (Scott Beery), 2 brothers and 5 granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Deosa and his parents Samuel and Florence Storm. Services will be held on Monday, October 12th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Florence Baptist Church. 30 N. Willow St. Interment will follow at Florence Cemetery.
