<p>Sharon Rose Emenhiser, 66, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020, at Lutheran Hospital. Sharon was born on March 10, 1954 in Newark, OH to Leo R. and C. Maxine (Fleak) Keith. On November 24, 1978, she married David W. Emenhiser.</p> <p>Sharon was physically a beautiful person but her internal beauty far exceeds anything that can be seen. She is the backbone of our family and has raised 3 wonderful children. She will never be replaced and will live in our hearts forever. &ldquo;For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ&rdquo;, Romans 6:23</p> <p>Sharon was a member of St. Mark&rsquo;s United Methodist Church. She received her BA of Music in 1976 from Miami University of Ohio. Sharon taught for 5 years at Arcanum H.S. in Arcanum, OH; was the choir director for First UMC in Greenville, OH for 5 years; taught pre-school at St. Mark&rsquo;s UMC from 1991-2001, then taught music at St. Joseph Catholic School from 2001-2018 from where she retired. &nbsp;Sharon was also the director of music at St. Mark&rsquo;s from 1983-2015 and taught private piano lessons for 30 years.</p> <p>She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David W. Emenhiser of Decatur; her mother, Maxine Keith of Newark, OH; a son, Matthew D. (Lindsay) Emenhiser of Plymouth; 2 daughters, Kristen M. (Jason) Vachon of Ft. Wayne and Jenna N. (Andrew) Isch of Lafayette; a brother, Garry (Bonnie) Keith of Pleasantville, OH; and 6 grandchildren, Cameron, Blake and Addison Vachon; Quinn Isch; Benjamin and William Emenhiser.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her father, Leo R. Keith.</p> <p>Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Mark&rsquo;s United Methodist Church.</p> <p>Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 also at the church. Officiating will be Pastor Chris Gadlage and Pastor Jeff Taylor.</p> <p>Memorial may be given to Riley Children&rsquo;s Hospital or St. Mark&rsquo;s UMC.</p>

Sharon was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. She received her BA of Music in 1976 from Miami University of Ohio. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 also at the church. Officiating will be Pastor Chris Gadlage and Pastor Jeff Taylor.

Memorial may be given to Riley Children’s Hospital or St. Mark’s UMC.
