Celia Amaya, age 78, passed away October 7, 2020. She was born on September 13, 1942 to Saragoza Garcia and Benita Sendego Garcia in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a Home Health Care provider.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Ageda Trevino, Chris (Leo) Montano, Elida (Julio) Sanchez and Linda Perez.

Celia is survived by her children, Rosalinda Amaya, Juanita Amaya, Blas Amaya, Jr., Margarita Amaya and sister, Maria (Dan) Ambris, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, October13, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
