Darline Tindell Smith was born on August 9, 1948, in Waco, Texas to Hattie Bernice Fitzhugh and Walter James Allen. Her final sunset was at her home in Pasadena, Texas on October 7, 2020. Darline had many fond memories of her children, stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the family dinners she loved. She loved dancing, trips to Branson and shopping excursions. Darline was predeceased by her father Walter James Allen, her mother Hattie Bernice Fitzhugh, her grandmother Nancy Allen and her brother Frankie Allen. She is survived by her husband Robert Smith; her brothers and sister Doug Allen, Keith Allen and Nancy Fullagar; her children Tammie and Dwight Ottele, Les and Debbi Tindell; stepchildren Tonya Ashley, Allen and Cayla Smith, and Robert and Becky Byrd. Darline is also survived by her grandchildren Ryan, Cody, Juan, Amber, Cameron, Heather, Matthew, Kirsten, Michael, Emily, Tim, Saralyn, Colton, Katie, Joshua, Finley, John, and Paisley and her great-grandchildren Justin, Parker, Skylar, Madison, Milo, Ryleigh, Avalon and Robin. The family would like to thank Linda King, Barbara Brantley and Trish Bailey and all who cared for Darla through the last few weeks…..she was never left alone.
