Ann Kupferschmid Rochester: Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Ruth Kupferschmid. She is survived by her daughter, Heather (Sean) Lahman; son, Ryall (Kara O'Leary) Carroll; grandchildren, Audrey and Henry Lahman, Hannah (Steve) Lewis, Charlie Carroll; siblings, Sue (Frank) Hobbs, Robert (Mary) Kupferschmid, Dick (Judy) Kupferschmid, and Jane (Bill) Ciminelli; 13 nieces and nephews. Ann spent the last 22 years of her career working as a Chemist for Monroe County. She was a pioneer for women in the wastewater industry. Longtime board member of NYWEA. Awarded the Golden Shovel and many Operations Challenge trophies. She also volunteered with Foodlink, Stream Watch, and as a poll worker. Ann will be remembered as an authentic, open, and honest friend to many. Selfless, dedicated to and extremely loved by her whole family. She left the world a better place. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation in her memory to Foodlink.
