Catherine Maryann Ward, age 67, of Lakemoor, Illinois, passed away on October 5, 2020, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 20, 1952, to Albert and Agnes ([...]) Haftl in Chicago, IL. On May 28, 1977, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Richard Ward in Antioch, IL. Catherine was an avid bowler, playing bingo, dinners out, and she loved spending time with family and friends making lifelong memories.Catherine was a loving, caring and generous. Catherine is survived by her Husband: Lawrence Ward, of Lakemoor, IL; sons: Bruce (Lisa) Biggs, of Independence, MO, Chris (Kari) Biggs, of Genoa City, WI; daughters:Deanna (Rick) Hudmon, of Wonder Lake, IL, Holly (Mike) Cowan, of Lakemoor, IL; grandson: Michael Ward, of Lakemoor; granddaughter: Chelsea Ward, of Lakemoor; 9 grandchildren;and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents:Albert Haftl and Agnes (Geirshack) Haftl. Celebration of her life will be at the Justen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 3 PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request that a donation be made to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Foundation in Catherine's name In accordance with public gathering restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
