Edward Alan McDonald, 68, of Pekin passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1952 in San Jose, CA to Raymond and Maxine Lonning McDonald. He married Cynthia “Cindy” H. Haight January 26, 2001 in Lake Tahoe, NV; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Lisa McDonald, Chris Smith, Megan (Styven Fanning) Dipino; grandchildren, Jonathan, Aiden, Landon, Jovi, Blake and siblings, Linda Tribbett and Ron Lonning. His parents preceded him in death. Edward worked as a baker for Walmart for nearly fifteen years. He loved his family. He enjoyed fishing, playing slot machines and coaching softball. Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
