Harry Elwood Dillon Obituary

Harry was the ninth of 14 children. When he became of age, he learned to drive a tractor from his dad, Ernest Sr. From then on he farmed with his dad until his dad couldn't work anymore.  He took over the business eventually, and he went on to learn about fencing.  Harry started his own business called, Dillon Contracting.  He pastured cattle for farmers and fenced for many.  He was a very independent man and taught his children to be so also.  He was a hard worker, always providing for his family.  He would go out of his way to help you if you needed help.  On funerals and other occasions he would go to the hutterites and buy eggs, potatoes and meat, and deliver it to the people.  Harry was a loving family man and loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.  He always made sure that they had the things that they needed.  He loved his sisters were also very special to him.  He would always phone them to share stories, jokes and many laughs with them. He also loved his nieces, nephews and cousins. Harry made sure that if they needed anything, he would be there for them.  Even though he struggled with his addictions he remained faithful to his parents' teachings about God.  He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior, and remained in his faith.  He will be greatly missed by his family, relatives, friends and all the people that he met on his journey here on earth.
