Madelyne L. Cerne died on September 27, 2020 after a long, rich, full life. She was born July 21, 1922 to Bertha and Stanley Zydek, the twelfth of fourteen children.

Madelyne met the love of her life, Frank Cerne, at a dance in Buckley in 1940 and they were married on September 5, 1941. They lived in Enumclaw with their two daughters Linda and Sandra. Over the years they enjoyed many family vacations including going to the beach, camping, and traveling to Las Vegas.

Madelyne was known for her delicious Christmas cookies, candy, and colorful popcorn balls. She loved playing Bingo and was quite lucky at it.

Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews brought her great joy. Madelyne will be fondly remembered by all.
