<p>Geraldine M. Bugg, 87, White Earth, MN, died Monday, October 5 at her home in congregate housing surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice.</p> <p>An overnight wake will begin at 6:00 PM Saturday, October 10th, 2020 followed by a funeral service starting at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the White Earth Community Center in Waubun.&nbsp; Interment will be held at a later date, October 20,2020 at&nbsp;Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis,</p> <p>Geraldine Margaret &ldquo;Gawkidee&rdquo; Bugg was born November 22, 1932 in Ponsford, MN to James and Nancy (Ortley) Evans.&nbsp; She was raised and educated in Ponsford.&nbsp; Geraldine was united in marriage to Charles Bugg, November 23, 1952 in Bagley, MN.&nbsp; They moved to St. Paul, MN in 1958 where Geraldine worked for Riverview Hospital, Control Data, The St. Paul Civic Center and as a housekeeper at a number of residences.&nbsp; Charles died June 10, 1997.&nbsp; Geraldine moved to Bemidji and, in 2010, she moved to White Earth, MN.</p> <p>Geraldine enjoyed playing BINGO, Friday night concerts at the Shooting Star Casino, visiting with her grand and great grandchildren, fixing puzzles, shopping at the Boys and Girls Club Thrift Store and feeding her birds. Geraldine went on many travels with Wisdom Steps.&nbsp; She loved all the angels she collected and took pride in her collection. Attending Pow-wows was a highlight in Geraldine&rsquo;s life.</p> <p>Survivors include her children: Annabelle Hicks of Albert Lea, MN, Denise Guinn of Rice Lake, MN, Stephanie Kingbird of Bemidji, MN, Terrance Bugg of Bemidji, MN, Bette Bugg of Bemidji, MN and Clayton Bugg of Duncan, British Columbia, 33 Grandchildren, 90 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren and 2 on the way.</p> <p>&nbsp;In addition to her husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Bugg, a daughter, Charlene Bugg, adopted children: Ralph and Cynthia Stone,&nbsp; grandsons, Clayton Bugg Jr. and Jacob Bugg, brothers and sisters: Garrison Evans, Betty Lou Evans, Kathryn Benson, Inez Loun and Fernette Neeland.&nbsp; David-Donehower Funeral Home is serving the family.</p>

Geraldine M. Bugg, 87, White Earth, MN, died Monday, October 5 at her home in congregate housing surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice.

Geraldine Margaret “Gawkidee” Bugg was born November 22, 1932 in Ponsford, MN to James and Nancy (Ortley) Evans.  She was raised and educated in Ponsford.  Geraldine was united in marriage to Charles Bugg, November 23, 1952 in Bagley, MN.  They moved to St. Paul, MN in 1958 where Geraldine worked for Riverview Hospital, Control Data, The St. Paul Civic Center and as a housekeeper at a number of residences.  Charles died June 10, 1997.  Geraldine moved to Bemidji and, in 2010, she moved to White Earth, MN.
