Thomas Joseph Nelson, Jr., age 79, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on October 6, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Thomas Nelson and Alice (Roth) Meisenhalder and husband of Patricia (Kendall) Nelson. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marines Corp and a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union #486. He loved to play golf and will be remembered as a devoted grandfather who would attend every type of sporting event that they played in. In addition to his wife Patricia, Thomas is survived by; two daughters, Tara Nelson, Amy (James) McFaul; son, Matt (Karen) Madsen; six grandchildren, Hannah Sullivan, Connor, Delaney & Rylie Madsen, Ethan Watts, Carter Wray.
