Beverly Ann Cole Obituary

Beverly Ann Cole, age 84, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. She was born on December 17, 1935 in Boaz, WI, to James and Margarite (Berry) LeBansky. On May 7, 1955 she was united in marriage to Ervin Cole at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. He preceded her in death August 22, 2020.  Together they had three children. In December of 1955 Ervin was called up to serve in the U.S. Army for two years. Their son David was born while Ervin was in the Army and only lived 19 hours, and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Beverly and Ervin spent seven winters in Texas and met many new friends, and old friends came to see them too. Beverly helped with lunches and coffee at country and gospel jams. She did crafts, quilting, swimming and church activities. Beverly had to slow down when Ervin needed extra care. She loved life, her family and all the grandchildren. They all had a special place in her heart.

Beverly is survived by her children; Terry (Judy) Cole, and Michael Cole, her five grandchildren; Robert, David, Paul, Laura and Ashley; her ten great-grandchildren; Judy M., Brianna, Hunter, Lucian, Lilly, Tristen, Seth, Keileigh, Heidi and Forrest, and her two great-great grandchildren Sophia and Gracie. She is further survived by her sister Jeanne (Gene) Hynek, sister-in-law Shirley LeBansky and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband Ervin she was preceded in death by her son David, a great grandson Keagen, her brothers Richard and Ronald and in-laws Roger and Mabel Krueger.

Funeral Services for Beverly will take place Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 am, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Reedsburg.  The Reverend Paul Crolius, Pastor, will officiate.  Visitation will also be on Saturday, at the church, from 9:30 am until the time of service.  Burial will follow services at Resting Green Cemetery in Ironton.
