It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Wesley Carl ‘Buzz’ Mudge on October 4 after a long and courageous fight with cancer.  Wesley passed peacefully in the night with his family at his side.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; his cat Tinkerbell; his daughter Jody (Rick) Bouchard; his son, Doug (Kim) Mudge of Edmonton, Alberta; his step-children Terry Andersen of Calgary, Alberta; Tammy (Steven) Hamilton of Carstairs, Alberta; Tina (Blaine) Hudecek of Mara, British Columbia; his two sisters, Phyllis (Dale) Callaghan, of Thunder Bay, Ontario and Virginia (Ted) Munch, of Whitecourt, Alberta; and ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Edmund (Ted) and Katherine Mudge, brother George Mudge and sisters Shirley (Lyman) Adams, of Sea View, PEI and Helen (Robert) Heller, of San Francisco, CA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 55 St Clair Avenue West, Suite 500, Toronto, Ontario M4V 2Y7.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses from the St. Michael’s Palliative Unit for their wonderful and compassionate care for Buzz.

Cremation has been entrusted to Evergreen Cremation Services.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, 1210 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta.
