Conway, South Carolina Mrs. Vista Lanett Kinard-Hovde, age 56, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her home following a sudden illness. Mrs. Kinard-Hovde was born on September 26, 1964 in Charleston, SC to Vista Wyvonia Mishoe Kinard and the late Edward Charles Kinard, Sr. Mrs. Kinard-Hovde worked in retail sales with Food Lion until her retirement and was a longtime member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years. Lanett will be most remembered as a kind and loving wife and daughter who had a special place in her heart for her dogs and cats that she loved dearly. Survivors, including her mother of Loris, are her husband, Scott Hovde of the home; mother-in-law, Kate James of Conway, SC; step-sons, Tyler Hovde, Travis Hovde and Trevor Hovde; step-daughter, Kelly Cornelius; nephew, Edward “Charlie” Kinard, III; niece, Jessica Brooke Kinard and great-nephew, Ronnie Kinard. In addition to her father, Mrs. Kinard-Hovde was predeceased by her brother, Edward Charles Kinard, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2020, at Cherry Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Ragsdale Allsbrook officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the time of service on Friday at Cherry Hill Baptist Church. Committal services will follow at Cherry Hill Cemetery.
