Douglas Thornton passed away with his wife Frances of 49 years by his side on September 30, 2020 at the age of 73 years.  He will be remembered and sadly missed by his wife Frances Thornton; children Daniel and Nadine Thornton; and grandchildren Tyler Thornton and Alyssa and Megan Clayson.

Family was everything to Douglas.  He was proud of his children and grandchildren.  He will be sorely missed.

The private Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Providence's Summerland Chapel, 13205 Rosedale Ave., Summerland, BC with John Briscall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of BC – South Okanagan & Similkameen, 104-35 Backstreet Blvd., Penticton, BC  V2A 1H7.
