Philip Clarke Jolley

Phillip Clarke Jolley, age 70, passed away at home October 3rd, 2020 Phillip (Phil) was born December 2, 1949 to George Homer and Esta Lee Jolley. He met and married Debbie Merchant in 1981. They started their life in the town of Emery and were later solemnized in the Manti LDS temple in 1995. Phil was an active member of the church for many years and enjoyed all his callings. Phil was dedicated to his family that he loved very much. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, going fishing, camping, and riding bikes with family and friends. Phil loved the town of Emery where he was incredibly involved with the community. He was always willing to help others, especially if it was putting in a sprinkler system, planning the town easter egg hunt, or his favorite game of horseshoes during the July 24th Celebration. Phil was a dedicated Coal Miner for 30 years. Through those years he also worked as the Emery Town Maintenance Manager and worked as a Farm manager at Castle Valley Ranch. He is survived by his wife Debbie Jolley and his 7 children Sheri and (Mike) Clark of Wayne County, Shawn and (Ashlee Hart) Jolley of Salt Lake City, Shellie Jolley-Dea of Herriman, Shane and (Haley Lynn) Jolley of Salt Lake City, Cassidy and (Gloria) Larsen of Riverton, Mandy Larsen of West Valley, Tyra Larsen of Price. Also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren that he loved so much. He is preceded in death by his father George Homer Jolley, mother Esta Lee Jolley-Henningsen, brothers Carl Jolley and Robert Jolley, sister Oralee Waite and brother in-law Sterling Waite. Graveside service will be on Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Emery Town Cemetery at 1:00 pm. 300 West 525 North, Emery, Utah.
