Obituary
Dax Cushman died September 28, 2020 and he was just 43 years of age. He was born with Tourettes Syndrome and it included obsessive compulsive behaviour and attention deficit disorder. It controlled his life which made normal functioning very difficult and it resulted in him living with us for his whole life. The Tourettes dominated his life and there were occasions when it was tedious for those around him but we learned to live with it and in fact it was no big deal for us. Dax had an excellent command of the English language, some of it colourful per the Tourettes, and always had an excellent sense of humour. We began to notice a change in his behaviour which was determined to be early dementia. It became full blown to the point where in recent weeks he could not really speak and could not eat solid food. This was a very difficult thing to watch however consider ourselves blessed in that we had him for 43 years and he made people better including his parents. For those of you who have children enjoy them as we do, and did.
