Amber Rose Gorentz Obituary

Amber Rose Gorentz was born on October 27, 1992 to her parents Brian James Gorentz and the late Joyce Marie (Clark) Kozitka in Renton, Washington. In 1995 Amber, Ashton and their mother Joyce moved to Vergas, Minnesota. A few years later they moved to Perham where Amber attended St. Paul’s Parochial School. The family again moved where Amber attended school in Hawley, Minnesota for a couple years. The family eventually moved to Fargo where she attended Carl Ben Eielson Middle School and finally Fargo South High School in Fargo, North Dakota.

Amber enjoyed working with her mother Joyce, as they were employed at the Petro Stopping Centers, various hotels and the Red River Valley Racetrack. In 2011 Amber gave birth to her only son Caiden Gorentz on May 11th, in Fargo, North Dakota. Amber was one of the best mothers and she did everything she could for her son.

Amber made her home in Perham, Minnesota in 2012 and was employed at R.D. Offutt Farms, West Central Community Group Home and Tender Hearts Home Care.  In 2016 Amber and her son, Caiden made their home in Wadena, Minnesota with her significant other, Brian Goeden and his son, Gunnar.   Amber enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She cared about whoever it was that crossed her path, whether she knew you or not. She was definitely the light of the party. Amber was very well known in her community. Everywhere she went, she made some kind of positive impact on your life. Anytime someone needed something Amber was the one to call, even if it was just to talk. We all know Amber could talk for hours and time did not matter to her. Amber was a true hearted farmer. She loved her goats, chickens, pigs, horses and miniature pony. One time, she had 2 baby deer and a couple baby racoons that she saved and raised. She had many dogs and cats that she also loved. Amber enjoyed fishing, hunting, and just being outdoors. Anything Amber would jump into for the first time, whether it was a new job or learning to operate machinery, she had a natural instinct and caught on immediately.

On September 29, 2020 Amber passed away unexpectedly in a tragic accident in Dunn Township, rural Dunvilla, Minnesota.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  Preceding her in death is her beloved Mother: Joyce (Clark) Kozitka; Grandmother: Della Gorentz; Grandparents: Edward and Sherly Clark; Cousin: Carina Kendrick.

Surviving Amber is her Son: Caiden Gorentz; Amber’s significant other: Brian Goeden and his Son: Gunnar Goeden of Wadena, Minnesota; Father: Brian Gorentz of Vergas, Minnesota; Siblings: Ashton Gorentz (Cassandra Hill) of Fargo, North Dakota; Tasha Gorentz of Fargo, North Dakota; Dylan Spenst of Vergas, Minnesota; and Cody Gorentz;  Grandfather: Gerald Gorentz of Vergas, Minnesota; many other relatives and WAY too many friends to count.
