<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Eileen Christensen</p> <p>May 8, 1954 ~ September 26, 2020</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Eileen Christensen (nee Sayer) of Hussar, wife of the late Lyle Christensen passed away peacefully at her home in Hussar.&nbsp; Eileen was born in Bassano and spent most of her life in Hussar.&nbsp; She was predeceased by her husband Lyle, parents Joe &amp; Caroline Sayer and her sister Shirley.</p> <p>Eileen is survived by her brothers Brian (Heather) (Elaine), Bob, sister Donna (Mark) and numerous nieces and nephews whom she cherished.</p> <p>Eileen enjoyed hosting family get togethers at her home and holding a bar-b-que on her lawn for the Hussar Daze Parade.&nbsp; She had many friends and members of the family that she kept in constant contact with.&nbsp; Eileen was very proficient at crocheting afghans to give to family and charities through the Senior&rsquo;s group.</p> <p>A private family Service of Committal will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hussar Cemetery with Pastor Dan Hendrickson officiating.&nbsp; Flowers are gratefully declined, memorial donations may be made to Hussar Cemetery Fund or the Sundowners Senior&rsquo;s Centre.</p> <p>Courtney-Winter&rsquo;s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.</p>

Eileen Christensen (nee Sayer) of Hussar, wife of the late Lyle Christensen passed away peacefully at her home in Hussar.  Eileen was born in Bassano and spent most of her life in Hussar.  She was predeceased by her husband Lyle, parents Joe & Caroline Sayer and her sister Shirley.

Eileen is survived by her brothers Brian (Heather) (Elaine), Bob, sister Donna (Mark) and numerous nieces and nephews whom she cherished.
