Obituary

Ralph Richard Weaver was born on February 26. He passed away on September 13, 2020.

Rich loved his music.  He was not your ordinary Pink Floyd fan.  He was the biggest fan and listener of Pink Floyd.  He got to see Roger Waters with one of his best buds Randy Gerber.  He also loved his Raiders.  The day he passed he was with Michelle watching a Raiders game.  Even if he was sleeping.  He would wake up and ask how the game was going.

He worked for Western Paper Company and Lewis Bros Stages.

The family gives a huge THANK YOU to Tag for helping Rich and to his RN Lisa.  You knew dad so very well.  You were so kind and helpful to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Weaver and Elizabeth (Betty) Weaver.

He is survived by his children: Michelle Weaver (Jill Hales), Carrie Watts (Jon Frisch), Brett Weaver, Timothy Weaver, and Christie (Matt) Jensen; grandchildren: Brittany Weaver (Kameron Burkett), Tyler Watts (Chelsey Macklin), Kiera Watts, Adam (Sarah) Weaver, Lydia Weaver, Victoria and Odin Jensen; great-Grandchildren: Lucas, Evelynn, Lyra Watts, Leanne Weaver, Lilly Burkett, Devyn and Cora Weaver; and sister, Leah Weaver-Patrick (Red Bluff, CA).

Married Ellen Park Weaver, later divorced.  Married Yumi Shimizu, later divorced.

A day of remembrance will be held on October 10, 2020 at 3 pm-5 pm at 5161 South 4240 West.  Refreshments will be provided.  If you would like, wear a Pink Floyd or Raiders shirt.
