Latone, Samuel J. Greece: Saturday, January 28, 2017 at age 92. Predeceased by his brothers, Paul & Michael Latone. Survived by his loving wife, Gilda Latone; children, Robert (Lyn) Latone, Jack (Mary) Latone, Karen (Cory) Aradine, Bruce (Sheila) Latone, Barbara (Jerry) Daggs, Tom (Kathy French) Latone; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Marie Gruttadauria; loving family and dear friends. Sam was a proud veteran of the United States Marines, served our Country in WWII and was a Iwo Jima survivor. He was a member of the 5th Marine division Association. Sam valued his family above all and will be deeply missed. Sam's funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, February 1st 10:00 AM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. Greece Chapel. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Honor Flight Rochester or American Diabetes Association in his memory.
