Marx Gust Luepke, age 86, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, passed away on October 1, 2020 in the late afternoon. The memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel at Warren's Funeral Home, with Bert Turner officiating. The eulogists were Alison Richards and Andrew Luepke. Marx is survived by his spouse, Marie; children, Joe (Karen), Brenda and Robert; grandchildren, Mathew (Chelsea), Alison (Brendan), Rebecca (Danny) and Andrew; and great granddaughter, Raelyn. Marx was predeceased by his parents, Stella and John Luepke, and 4 brothers and 1 sister. Marx was born in Swift Current in 1934, and in 1964 he married Marie Dyck, beginning 56 years of happily married life. Marx was a hard worker his entire life, finishing his working life with the C.P.R.  He loved trains! Marx was a member of the Elks and the Eagles. He loved fishing, and later in life, loved spending time with family and friends. He was an adamant animal lover. Donations in memory of Marx may be made to the Swift Current S.P.C.A., P.O.
