Ernest Trahan, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Forest Park Church of Christ for Ernest Trahan, Jr. who passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Rev. Bruce Runner of Forest Park Church of Christ will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held at Forest Park Church of Christ Monday from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Tuesday from 8:00 am to 1:45 pm. Interment will be in Kie Hebert Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Peggy Ann Romero Trahan of Roberts Cove; two sons, Ernest Trahan, III of Merryville, TN, and Mark Trahan of Crowley; one sister, Lilly Notestine of Jennings; one step-sister, Florence Blanchard ; and four grandchildren, Collin Ray Trahan, Cameron Paul Trahan, Ernest Alexander Trahan IV and Caylin Alise Trahan. Mr. Trahan is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Suzie Ewing Trahan, Sr.; his sisters, Lucille Murphy, Dorothy Simon, Wilma Miller, Lydia Kebodeaux; his brothers, William Trahan, John Trahan, Lenis Trahan, Steve Trahan, Rayford Trahan; and his step-siblings, Orey Nugent, Howard Nugent, and Dorthy Myers.
