Mary Ann Pressman

Mary Ann Sinlock Pressman died on October 2, 2020 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford with her sister Barbara at her side. Mary Ann was born in Hanover, VA on June 14, 1940 to the late Charles Albert and Sue Furchak Sinlock. The family moved to Curtis Bay/Brooklyn, MD in 1943. Mary Ann attended 208 Elementary School in Curtis Bay and 239 Jr. High in Brooklyn. She graduated from Southern High School in South Baltimore in 1958. She then completed Cosmetology School and began working as a hair stylist in the Farmers Market, Glen Burnie, MD. It was there that she met Marty Pressman who owned Orsons Meat Market. They were married on December 27, 1968. Mary Ann became a mom to Jason Matthew Pressman on December 16th, 1973. Mary Ann loved being a stay at home mom. Mary Ann returned to work in October of 1993 as an Inside Phone Salesperson for HM Wagner & Sons in Glen Burnie, MD. She remained a dedicated employee for 25 years. She loved working at Wagner’s. Mary Ann & Marty retired to Milford, DE in 2010. Her husband, Marty, preceded her in death in 2017. She is survived by her sons; Jason M. Pressman and his wife Jessica and their son Jack Martin all of California, Alan Pressman and his wife and their family of New York, a daughter; Lynne Ellick and her family who reside in Delaware, New York and Canada. She is also survived by her siblings. Irene Garrett and family who reside in Kentucky and Illinois, Barbara Sullivan and her husband Bob and their family who reside in Delaware and Pennsylvania; Charles Sinlock and his wife Bonnie and their family who reside in Maryland and Washington State as well as many cousins and friends. We know you are happy in heaven with all the family. Mary Ann you will be missed but not ever forgotten by us.
