Revillo "Bill" Junior Stevens

Revillo "Bill" J. Stevens, 87, of Temperance, MI, died Friday, October 2, 2020 at Ebeid Hospice Sylvania, Ohio. Born November 7, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Revillo O. and Florence (Hileman) Stevens. A graduate of Whitmer High School, he married Carolyn J. Wisher on January 16, 1954. Bill was tool and Die maker with various companies in the Toledo area. Eventually, retiring from General Motors in 1995 at the Adrian plant. In Bill's earlier days, he enjoyed bull riding, the rodeo and always remained an avid horseman. He also enjoyed deer hunting and pheasant hunting. Bill was an active member of Bridgepoint Church in Temperance. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Carolyn; children, Steven J. (Diana) Stevens, Shelly Nutter, Douglas (Debbie) Stevens, Rodney (Lisa) Stevens and Kendall (Carol) Stevens; brother, John (Jo) Stevens; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Della Erswell and brothers, Wallace, Alvin and Melvin Stevens. Visitation with Social Distancing guidelines will be from 3-8 pm, Monday, October 5, 2020 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman Rd.), Temperance, Michigan where services on Tuesday will be held at 11:00 am. Interment services will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.
