Mary A. Onofrey

Mary A. Onofrey, age 66 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mary was born Monday, August 30, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late David and Margaret Beynon. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and friend to all who knew her. She worked for several years in the restaurant business. She was of the Catholic Faith and was very giving and always taking care of everybody. She loved to read, do word searches, latch-hook crafts, going new places, and spending time with her Grandson. Mary is survived by: 2 Daughters and 1 Son-in-law: Marianne and Jason Cunningham of Cookeville, TN Kimberly Onofrey and Fiancé Darryl Akins of Chattanooga, TN 1 Son: Mel Onofrey of Cookeville, TN 1 Grandchild: Aidan Harrison of Cookeville, TN 2 Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Terry and Bill Meecham of Pennsylvania Margaret and Andy Walton of Pennsylvania 1 Brother and Sister-in-law: Jimmy and Debbie Beynon of Pennsylvania A host of Nieces and Nephews In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Melvin Onofrey, Jr., 1 Brother: David Beynon. Funeral services for Mary will be at held Sunday, October 4, 2020 beginning at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Father Eric Johansen officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, October 4, from 12:00 pm until time of service at  1:00 pm.
