Larry Goldade September 24, 1948 – September 30, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Goldade announce his passing on September 30, 2020 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. Larry will forever be loved and missed by Jane, his wife of 47 years; his son Aaron (Julia); his daughter Jill (Mike Ranger); his grandchildren Hudson, Taylor and Alessandra. He will also be loved and missed by his brothers Sam and Chuck (Dianne); his sisters Cathy (Phil Streifel), Carolle (Warren Debert), sister-in-law Lorraine; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Larry valued the companionship of his many friends. Larry was predeceased by his parents Anton and Matilda, brothers Joe and Rick (Agnes), and sisters Josephine and Roselle (Nick Miller). Larry was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved music – playing guitar and singing with friends and family. Throughout his life, Larry developed a passion for cars, especially his fully restored 1961 Corvette. He garnered a vast knowledge of cars, which in turn made him a discerning and successful businessman. He was always appreciative of his employees. Larry enjoyed sports – playing baseball, hockey and later being an armchair fan. Larry loved to tell stories which always ended with an entertaining punchline. He also enjoyed the outdoors – hunting and fishing, which often were the basis for his many stories. Larry loved to travel with family and friends – getting away from the cold winters. For more than thirty years, Larry worked for the Prince Albert Grand Council. He served in several roles, retiring as the Director of Education. He was thoroughly immersed in his work as an advocate and friend. At Larry’s request, a private family interment will occur at a later date. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Larry always had a concern to help homeless people. Therefore, in lieu of other tributes, donations in his memory can be ,made to the YMCA- 94-15 Street East, Prince Albert, S6V 1E8.
