James Zeller

James ‘Jim’ Hale Zeller was born January 9th, 1952 to Ervan and Sherley Zeller in Provo, UT. He was the oldest of seven children. He graduated in 1970 from Skyview High School in Smithfield, UT. After graduation, he attended Utah State University for one year before he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was called to serve in the Gulf States Mission from May 1971 to May 1973. In later years he would describe his mission as “Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and the Memphis part of Tennessee.” After his mission, he continued at Utah State University while working at Schreiber Cheese. In 1975 he received a job offer from Creed Company that moved him to Seattle, Washington. Just two weeks after moving to Washington he met his wife while attending church. After four years of being good friends they were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple in July of 1979. Jim continued working at Creed until September 1981 when he started his own company D&L Supply and Manufacturing. He was respected and extremely knowledgeable about the use of all plumbing supplies and became a founding member of the National Association of Plumbing Specialty Distributors. During his life he served in many positions within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jim loved to tinker with computers, gardening, and photography. He died October 1st in Tacoma, WA. Jim is survived by his wife Donita ‘Donnie’ Zeller and his four children David (Collette) Zeller, Jessica (Chuck) Huffman, Suzy Zeller, and Katherine Zeller. Siblings Robert Zeller, John Zeller, David Zeller, Raymond Zeller, Sheryl Rohde, and Carol Schraeder. Six grandchildren; Olivia, Elena, and Isabella Zeller and Alexandra, Elizabeth, and Charles Huffman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ervan and Sherley Zeller.
