Marina S. Krajewski, age 87, a Manitowoc resident, formerly of Munising, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Harbor View Assisted Living, Manitowoc. She was born on November 25, 1932 in Rumely, Michigan, daughter of the late Richard and Sylvia (Aho) Nelson. In January of 1951, Marina married Frank H. Krajewski in Munising, Michigan. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2017. She was employed as a nurses aid at Munising Memorial Hospital. Marina was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Munising, MI, as well as the Moose Lodge. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, and gardening. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Cynthia (Jeffrey) Tech, Manitowoc; one son: Frank R. Krajewski, Manitowoc; one son-in-law: James (Marcia) Toerpe; six grandchildren: Steve Tech, Mike Tech, Bob Tech, Becky Toerpe, James Toerpe, and Mark Toerpe; two brothers: Bing (Mary) Nelson and Bob (Joyce) Nelson; one sisters: Rita LeMere; one sister-in-law: Carolyn Nelson; and one brother-in-law: Fred (Margaret) Krajewski. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two daughters: Carolyn (William) Takkinen and Patricia Toerpe; as well as brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. Cremation has occurred at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and services will be held at a later date.
