On Tuesday, September 29, 2020, Barbara Ann Green passed away peacefully at home. Barb was born on February 20, 1957, in Indianapolis, IN to George and Margaret (Garrett) Green. She received her nursing degree from Indiana University and worked for over 30 years for Community Health Network. Barb loved her cats, shopping on Amazon, Christmas, and spending time at the beach, but most of all she loved her family and her friends. Her legendary sense of humor and generosity will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Barb was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister Susan Hall, brother Gary (Kathy) Green, brother George Green (Cruz Philips), sister Kathy (David) Brooks, nephew Garrett (Jamie) Hall, nephew Matthew Green, niece Jessica Green, nephew Jerry Brooks, niece Lilly Brooks, great-nephew Carter Hall, and great-niece Beatrice Hall. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd, with a memorial service for family to follow at 4 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
