Funeral services for Mr. Wayne McKinley “Snap” Rozier, of Dexter, will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1 PM at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, 600 East Mary Street in Dublin. Reverend Hershal Walker will deliver the eulogy. Mr. Rozier was born on November 5, 1957 to the parentage of McKinley and Bertha Rozier. He was married to Priscilla Ann Brown and to this union was born two children. Wayne received his education at Mary Flemming Elementary School and Dublin High School. He was a truck driver for 45 years, which was his passion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla A. Rozier, parents, McKinley and Bertha Rozier, three siblings, Catherine Rozier, James Rozier and Larry Rozier, one brother-in-law, Rev. Frank Holsey, and one grandson, Wayne McKinley II. He entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2020. Mr. Rozier leaves to cherish his memories three children, Bertha L. Rozier of Huntsville, Alabama and Rafel (Demetriss) Rozier of Dublin and Courtney Howard; seven sisters, Eva Holsey of Denver, Colorado, Claudia (Marcus) Mayweather of Dublin, Gail Rozier of Atlanta, Jan (Ronnie) Gainey, Regenia (Tracey) Truitt, Winifer (Tracy) Moss all of Dublin and Renee Rozier of Warner Robins; two brothers, Timothy Rozier of Dublin and Anthony Rozier of Macon; nine grandchildren; one devoted and loving special grandson, Derryunte Rozier; two great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
