Gladys Yarwood 94-year-old resident of Becker, MN, formerly of Baxter, MN passed away September 28, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home. The family requests that you abide by social distancing and please wear a mask. Gladys was born on August 19, 1926 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Lee and Julia Sells. She was united in marriage to Charles Yarwood on June 17, 1946 in Arkansas. Gladys was a wonderful homemaker and always had meals on the table for her family. She was a servant to others especially, during her husband’s illness and to her elderly parents. Gladys was also a servant to God and a very spiritual woman. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in later years. Gladys will be remembered as always showing concern for others. Gladys is survived by her children, Alan Yarwood, Connie (Gene) Nelson, Julie (Ray) Hendrickson; 7 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Merv Sells; and granddaughter, Jenny Nelson. Arrangements are with the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd.
