<p>Ethan Alan Butler, 18, of North Vernon, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.</p> <p>Born October 15, 2001 in Seymour, he was the son of Amber Davis.</p> <p>Ethan attended Jennings County High School and the welding program at Southeast Career Center in Versailles. He was a member of First Baptist Church in North Vernon. Ethan enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing, kayaking, bon fires, target shooting, art and music.</p> <p>He is survived by his mother, Amber Davis of North Vernon; grandmother, Laura Adams of Old Paris; brother, Dax Speer of Scipio; sisters, Trea Davis and Wraen Lawson, both of North Vernon; uncles, Todd Asher of Scipio and Jade Adams of Old Paris; aunts, Amy Davis and Jennie (Brad) Campbell, both of North Vernon, and Desiree Adams of Seymour; and cousins, Jacob Asher of Scipio, and Katie Asher and Isaiah Asher, both of North Vernon.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his grandparents.</p> <p>A funeral service for Ethan will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2020, at the Dove-Sharp &amp; Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with Al Davisson officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, October 2, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.</p> <p>Memorials may be made in memory of Ethan to the donor&rsquo;s choice of charity through the funeral home. &nbsp;</p>
