<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Floyd Douglas Fowler, Jr., age 78, passed away September 26, 2020 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born April 12, 1942 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Floyd Douglas Fowler, Sr. and Dorothy D. (Turner) Fowler. He grew up in the Salem community near Henryetta and moved to Seminole in 1978. He married Babette (Scott) Fowler on April 28, 1979 in Seminole, Oklahoma.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Floyd worked as an insurance agent for American General for over 30 years. His last job was at O&rsquo;Reilly&rsquo;s Auto Parts and he loved working there and said it was his favorite job. He enjoyed fishing.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Left to cherish Floyd&rsquo;s memory are his wife of 41 years, Babette Fowler, his sons; Steven Fowler and his wife Deanna of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ronald Scott and his wife Charmaine of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Carlton Scott of Seminole, Oklahoma and Thomas Scott and his wife Catrina of Seminole, Oklahoma, daughters; Cindy Fowler Watson&nbsp;from Glenpool, Oklahoma and Christine Poinsett and her husband Jim of McLoud, Oklahoma, brothers; James and Karen Fowler of Plano, Texas, John and Sherry Fowler of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and Michael and Kathi Fowler of Arlington, Texas, sisters; Mary Yandell of Ft. Worth, Texas, Barbara Farley of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Katherine and Bill Palmeter of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Ann Storts of Bristow, Oklahoma and sister-in-law; Carole Fowler of Plano, Texas,&nbsp;nineteen grandchildren and&nbsp;sixteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Doug Fowler and brother; Donald Fowler.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Funeral services for Floyd will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, 1001 N. Milt Phillips Avenue, Seminole, Oklahoma. Pastor Robert Fowler will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Casket bearers will be Steven Fowler, Zachery Fowler, Eli Fowler, Kyle Posey, Travis Posey, Aaron Scott, Brandon Scott, Corey Scott, Thomas Scott, Matthew Scott, Kristopher Scott and Dustyn Scott. Honorary bearers will be James Fowler, John Fowler, Michael Fowler, Bill Palmeter and Harvey Young.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.</strong></span></p>

Floyd Douglas Fowler, Jr., age 78, passed away September 26, 2020 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born April 12, 1942 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Floyd Douglas Fowler, Sr. and Dorothy D. (Turner) Fowler. He grew up in the Salem community near Henryetta and moved to Seminole in 1978. He married Babette (Scott) Fowler on April 28, 1979 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Floyd worked as an insurance agent for American General for over 30 years. His last job was at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts and he loved working there and said it was his favorite job. He enjoyed fishing.
