David Alan “Zac” Smith, 69, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020, at his residence.

Born May 16, 1951, in Seymour, he was the son of Brooksie and Audrey (Pierce) Smith.

David was 1969 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked construction.

David is survived by his friend, Alicia Blanche Barbour of North Vernon; brothers, Kevin Smith of Indianapolis, Larry Smith of Ft. Meyers, Florida, and James (Diana) Reed of Indianapolis; sisters, Donna (Marc) Guyon and Anita (Darrell) Clotz, both of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with his wishes cremation is planned and burial in the Vernon Cemetery. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service was entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
