Pamela Venetia Goode

On Monday, September 28, 2020 Pamela Venetia Goode, known as “Buck”, departed her earthly life at Spartanburg Medical Center.   A daughter of the late Elzie Goode, Sr. and Frances Jeter Goode, she was born on November 23, 1961.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Goode, Perry Goode, and Kenneth Goode.  Pam was a member of the New Emanuel Chapel Baptist Church, where she was an active member of the Rutherford Mass choir, the Missionary, and former member of the Culinary Committee.  She was a 1980 graduate of Jonesville High School.  Pam was a nanny to a host of children, giving tender loving care and food.  She leaves to cherish  loving memories, her dear and devoted friend, Jesse Rodgers; one daughter, Miranda Goode of the home; one son, Artadius Stewart of the home; her loving and precious granddaughter, Savannah Dunn of the home; two brothers, Eugene (Sallie) Goode of Blair, SC and Elzie (Sherry) Goode, Jr. of Union, SC; four sisters, Virginia Lyles of Union, SC, Shirley Brock of Jonesville, SC, Elsie (Juerg) Nydegger of Moore, SC, and Bertha  (André) Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC; one aunt, Eva Mae Smith of Union, SC; a devoted best friend, Jacqueline Rodgers; and a host of loving nieces and nephews, as well as cousins and friends.  .  Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at New Emanuel Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
