Michael Jefferson Addison, age 74 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Monday, September 28, 2020.

Mr. Addison was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 17, 1946. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claud Augustas Addison and Margie Addison; wife, Patsy Jean Abernathy; brothers, Claude Augustas Jr, Ronnie Addison. Mr. Addison proudly served his country serving 3 tours of duty as a Master Sergeant in Vietnam. He was a proud Marine and served in the special forces. Above all he was a loving husband and father.
Survivors include daughters, Pamela Thrower (Eddie Rogers), Tammy Sweet; grandchildren, Melissa Vangorder, Amber Thrower, Erica Sweet, Michael Sweet; great-grandchildren, Cassidy Martinez, MacKenzie Brittain, Tiree Worley, Adrianna Worley, Landen Holt; great-great grandchild, Acela Martinez; several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Jordan will officiate. Interment will be at Westminster Gardens in Peachtree City, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Toys for Tots or Wounded Warriors.
