Jo Claire Pipal, age 62 of Granbury, TX passed away September 23, 2020 peacefully in her sleep. 

She was known by many as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  Jo was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays.  For many years, she collected a large library of cookbooks and special recipes.  She also enjoyed reading, painting, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends at the lake or in a pool.  

Jo was born to Dan and Betty Lavelett on March 26, 1958 in Hobbs, NM.  She attended school in Hobbs and graduated with honors in 1976.  As a young girl, she enjoyed riding horses and barrel racing.  She went on to have a successful career working for various companies in office management.

Jo was most proud of her sons and her beloved grandchildren.  They were the light of her life and she enjoyed visiting with them any chance she had. 

She is survived by her two sons, Cory (Jessica) Pipal, Stephenville, TX, Kevin (Jennifer) Pipal , Windsor, MO.  Her three grandchildren, Brayden, Bailey and Kyle.  Her mother, Betty Lavelett , Hobbs NM, sister Pat (Scot) Youngblood, Hobbs, NM, sister Sharon (Rick) Keith, Hobbs, NM.
