Bob McFarland, age 84, of Jasper, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his home. He was born July 7, 1936 to Tom and Fronia McFarland in Canton, Georgia.
Bob is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Greg Dunnegan of Canton; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Kathy McFarland of Ranger, David and Angela McFarland of Jasper; grandchildren, Drake and Cassie Dunagan, Hannah and Dave Deyton, Jesse McFarland, Haley and Wes Watkins, Natalie and Preston Williams; great-grandchildren, Adalie Deyton, Everlee Deyton, and Vivian June Watkins. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and nine brothers.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Long Swamp Baptist Church with Reverend Edwin Bishop, Reverend Nathan Smith, and Reverend Tim Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
