Tills, Wendy Barbara, Kentville, passed away, September 25,2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Wendy was born, August 27,1940 in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England, to the late Charles “Harry” and Lillian (Symonds) Tills. She was a member of the Hope Centre, Yarmouth for many years. A member of the Special Olympics, bowling team. She worked for the Salvation Army and Life Skills, Yarmouth. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting blankets for cats and dogs at the local SPCA. Wendy is survived by her brother, Paul Tills, England; sisters, Fay Purdy, Hebron; Shelagh Holm, England. She was predeceased by her brothers, Roland, Stephen and Richard; brother in law, Leslie J. Purdy. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service will be held, Saturday, October 3,2020 at 3 pm from the Chebogue Cemetery. Pastor Bud Hulbert officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Life Skills, Yarmouth.
