William Taylor
William Edgar “Bill” Taylor, age 84, husband of Judy Lynn Smith Taylor, of Rutherfordton passed away Monday at his home. Bill was a native of Rutherford County, son of the late William Ross Taylor and Ida Mae White Taylor, a retired truck driver and a member of Catawba Falls Baptist Church. In addition to his wife Judy he leaves to cherish his memory a daughter Shelley Taylor Barnette, sons William Timothy (Renee) Taylor and Phillip Cliff Taylor; brothers Dennis and Donald Taylor; sisters Lillian Frazier and Peggy Cooper; 3 Grandsons and 1 Great Grandson. Graveside services will be 3 PM Thursday October 1 at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery Hwy 221 South Rutherfordton, NC 28139 with the Rev. John Cox and Rev. Phillip Wishon officiating.
